UNCHARTED 4 Delayed To Spring 2016

source : GAMESPOT

Sony has delayed the released date for Uncharted 4 to spring 2016, the company has announced.
Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley, the two directors heading up the project at Naughty Dog, said the postponement was necessary to ensure the PlayStation 4 game matches the high expectations from fans.
"Since we showed you our first gameplay reveal of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, more of the game and story have come together, and it's become clear to us that this game is much more ambitious than we originally envisioned," both said in a prepared statement.
"After spending so many years with Nathan Drake, he means a lot to the team, and telling the climactic chapter of his adventures is a task we don't take lightly--this game deserves every bit of the attention to detail, precise pacing, and nuanced storytelling Naughty Dog is known for.
"So we've made the difficult choice of pushing the game's release date. Giving us a few extra months will make certain that Uncharted 4: A Thief's End not only meets the team's high standards but the high standards that gamers have come to expect from a Naughty Dog title."
Uncharted 4 was scheduled to arrive at some stage in 2015,
The delay is the latest sign of the industry's challenges in moving their production schedules in sync with next generation technology. Previously delayed AAA games include Driveclub, Bloodborne, The Witcher 3,Watch Dogs, and Batman Arkham Knight.
Both Druckmann and Straley said they understood frustrations regarding the delay.
"Thank you for your patience--we know the extra wait will be excruciating, but you'll see it will be worth it as we reveal more about Uncharted 4 over the next year," the duo said.
"The team at Naughty Dog will be heads down working through 2015 making sure that Nathan Drake's story gets the closure it deserves. Come spring 2016, you and Nate are in for one thrilling, emotional ride."

HOMEFRONT : The Revolution Delayed until 2016

source  : GAMESRADAR

After a perilous journey from one developer-publisher combo to the next, Homefront: The Revolution is taking a little breather. Publisher Deep Silver announced today that it's delaying the sequel to the 2011 Red Dawn-inspired shooter out from this year, with a new release date slated for 2016.
Deep Silver said this will give developer Dambuster Studios 'the time to realize its ambitious vision' for the game. That vision includes an occupied Philadelphia, in which players are free to plot their own guerrilla operations to overthrow their Korean People's Army oppressors.

"Dambuster Studios are an extraordinarily talented group," Deep Silver CEO Dr. Klemens Kundratitz said in a press release. "We are giving the team every opportunity to turn Homefront: The Revolution into a best-selling title, and have set a 2016 release date to provide them the time they need to achieve this. You can expect to hear more about the game later this year."
Dambuster is largely composed of former members of Crytek UK, which operated as Free Radical Design during its TimeSplitters years. Through a THQ bankruptcy auction here and a Crytek liquidation there, the rights and team eventually ended up with Deep Silver. Isn't intellectual property management fun?
Not too many people are ripping their hair out for a Homefront sequel, so it's nice to see Deep Silver give it some more time to succeed instead of rushing it out.

CALL OF DUTY : ADVANCED WARFARE Everything about the game(spoiler alert)

Advanced Warfare, like the other Call of Duty titles, is presented in a first-person shooter perspective. However, the game features several changes; unlike other installments, Advanced Warfare does not use a traditional heads-up display; instead, all information is relayed to the player via holographic projections from the weapon equipped. The general gun-play remains unchanged, apart from new mechanics, for example, certain guns will be able to recharge slowly. The player can also switch between different types of grenades. The game will also be the first in the Call of Duty series that will allow the player to choose differing types of conventional weaponry; for example, the game will feature regular conventional firearms, but the player can also choose to use Laser or Energy directed weaponry, both of which have differing attributes. Customization will also return from the 2013 title Call of Duty: Ghosts.

In 2054, Private Jack Mitchell (Troy Baker) of the United States Marine Corps participates in a battle against North Koreans in Seoul, along with his squadmates Private Will Irons (Paul Telfer) and Sergeant Cormack (Russell Richardson). In the midst of the battle, Will is killed in action, while Mitchell's left arm is severed from his shoulder, forcing him to be discharged from military service. After attending a funeral service for Will, Mitchell is offered to join the Atlas Corporation, the world's most powerful private military contractor, by CEO Jonathan Irons (Kevin Spacey), Will's father. As a reward, Mitchell is given an advanced prosthetic arm to replace his lost one.  Meanwhile, a terrorist group calling itself the KVA, led by a technophobic man called Joseph "Hades" Chkheidze (Sharif Ibrahim), begins staging numerous terrorist attacks, with the world turning to Atlas to stop them. Mitchell, his teammate Gideon (Gideon Emery) and other Atlas soldiers rescue the Nigerian prime minister and later capture a KVA technologist in Lagos during a technology summit. However, by 2055, the KVA's attacks soon become more sophisticated, and Mitchell and his team fail to prevent the KVA from forcing a nuclear reactor meltdown in Seattle. The KVA launch similar attacks against nuclear power plants worldwide, irradiating numerous cities, killing thousands of people, and putting national governments and militaries in turmoil. Atlas emerges as the dominant military force in the world, aiding civilians affected by the attacks, and holding back the
