Gaming Keyboards

Just like it is with a mouse, a proper gaming keyboard will make all the difference regardless of the kind of games you play. To that end, we thought it'd be a good idea to make a list of the best gaming keyboards out there. Of course, since covering a wide range of prices was a priority, we couldn't restrict ourselves to mechanical keyboards, so you'll see both mechanical as well as membrane keyboards in this list.
Razer Arctosa RZ03 - Rs 2,750

Owing to the Arctosa's low-end price range, we have to warn you not to expect much from the keyboard. However, as a gaming keyboard, it is head and shoulders above any other keyboard you'll find in the market. Being a membrane keyboard, the Arctosa features selective anti-ghosting capabilities around the WASD key cluster along with Razer's Hyperresonpsive key technology to reduce key latency.

Cooler Master Devastator Mouse and Keyboard - Rs 3,499

The Devastator bundle is one of the best value-for-money propositions we've seen when it comes to shopping for gaming peripherals on a budget. The keyboard comes with all the multimedia buttons you'd want, but is otherwise quite Spartan and without the bells and whistles you'll see in higher-end keyboards. For all you nocturnal gamers out there, the Devastator also has a blue LED backlight which can be toggled on and off.
Cooler Master CM Storm Quick Fire TK - Rs 7,499

The Quick Fire TK is a mechanical keyboard available in Cherry MX Black and Red switches, depending on your preference. It is a no-frills keyboard when it comes to features, and lacks a custom driver suite, which means you can simply plug in the keyboard to whatever computer you want and play. It's also quite a beast, weighing in at 1.3 kg, which will help avoid accidentally moving the keyboard during frantic gaming sessions. To top it off, it has media keys as well as 6-key rollover.
Corsair Vengeance K95 - Rs 9,746

The Corsair Vengeance K95 has all of the features you'd expect from a high-end mechanical keyboard, including extra programmable macro keys and the ability to lock the Windows key from doing anything. Along with all of this, the K95 also has a premium feel with its black anodised brushed aluminium chassis and the high quality of its keys. The keys themselves run on Cherry MX Red switches, which many proclaim to be perfect for gaming. Extra features include on-board profile storage and 100% anti-ghosting with full key rollover.
Razer BlackWidow Ultimate 2013 - Rs 9,799

The cream of the crop when it comes to Razer's gaming keyboards, the BlackWidow Ultimate 2013 is a mechanical keyboard with almost every gaming-related feature you can imagine, such as anti-ghosting. It runs on Cherry MX Blue switches, and for added customisability, uses Razer's Synapse driver suite, giving you a higher degree of control over the features of the BlackWidow. Weighing in at 1.5 kg, it'd be almost impossible to accidentally move the BlackWidow around during hectic gaming sessions.
