Spider-Man Unlimited, an endless runner
starring several iterations of the wall-crawler, was announced by Gameloft
and Marvel today.
Spider-Man Unlimited is slated for iOS, Android, and
Windows Phone in early September.
The story centers around the Sinister Six
opening a dimensional rift, which also opens the door for various versions of Spider-Man. There will be 23 versions of the web-slinger choose from, including Spider-Man Noir, Future Foundation, and Ben Reilly. The assorted Spider-Men will take part in story "issues," akin to comic books, each with its own primary villain: Green Goblin, Vulture, and Electro. Each villain will also get some assistance from their own alternate dimensional beings.

Gameloft's most recent mobile game was The Amazing
Spider-Man 2. IGN's review said the game was
"marred by technical problems" and "shoddy onscreen
controls."
