TRANSFORMERS : RISE OF THE DARK SPARK on June 24

Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark is an upcoming video game being developed by Edge of Reality and published by Activision. It will be the third installment in the War for Cybertron series and the fourth installment in the movie game series. The game will be released June 24, 2014 for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4,Wii U, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.^] The game will serve as both a sequel to Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, and a companion to the film Transformers: Age of Extinction.

The video game console version of Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark will be
a third-person shooter, much like their predecessors From High Moon Studios Transformers: War for Cybertron, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron andTransformers: Dark of the Moon. The game will have a single-player campaign that will let players choose whether they would like to affiliate themselves with the Autobots, to protect Earth, or the Decepticons, to destroy Earth.Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark Escalation; the online multiplayer mode where four players fend off waves of increasingly tough enemies returns with upgradable defenses being added. The mode will feature over forty playable characters. In addition, experience points collected by players, in single-player mode and multiplayer mode, will be shared. There is currently no evidence to support the multiplayer seen in Cybertron games for Rise Of The Dark Spark.

The handheld versions of the game will be a strategy RPG.

Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark will be a crossover with the Transformers film series and the video game series, consisting of Transformers: War for Cybertron and Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. The story will take place before the Ark is launched in the Aligned continuity, while it also occurs simultaneously with the events of Age of Extinction and its aftermath. The Dark Spark is a powerful artifact that is capable of ripping holes in dimensions, which is how the Movie-verse and the Aligned-verse crossover.
