Hideo Kojima said the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain would be released on PC.
The legendary creator of the Metal Gear series told GameSpot that he'd be interested in a PC version of the upcoming title since it would fit with his background as a PC game developer.
"A long time ago I didn't want to rely on platforms to release games, so if people want [Metal Gear on PC], I cannot make a formal announcement, but that is definitely something that I would like to do," Kojima told GameSpot.
As of right now, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is slated for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox 360. There is no release date yet, but Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, a stand-alone prequel, is scheduled for a March 18 release.
